Leslie Paparsenos, Physical Therapist, Physiotherapist, MS, C/NDT specializes in pediatric rehabilitation, serving babies, children and adolescents across a spectrum of neurological and developmental disabilities, and their families. Both nationally and internationally, she has educated and trained healthcare professionals in advanced specialized treatment techniques, and provided consultative services. Leslie has worked in a variety of settings, including private pediatric clinics, schools, private homes, hospitals and long-term care facilities, as well as facilities overseas. Leslie is a certified Pediatric NDT Instructor and certified in NeuroDevelopmental Treatment. Her passion for helping others extends into her private life. She has volunteered with Milwaukee Orthopedics Overseas, participating in mission work in Nicaragua. Her passion for travel has led her to teach and treat in Australia, China, India and Nicaragua. Leslie is committed both to supporting therapists in their clinical development and assisting families in their journey to independence
Leslie offers private consultations, traditional therapy, as well as individualized therapy intensives to address the functional goals of families and children with neuromuscular disorders. She is available to treat children at home or at a venue of the family's choice. Leslie works with other professionals in an interdisciplinary manner to facilitate optimal, functional outcomes.
Therapies include a variety of techniques and strategies specific to the individual needs of the child and family, while providing both emotional support and challenge. Functional carryover opportunities for home, school, preschool, etc. will be addressed with families.
